Description

Cool off with these Strawberry Basil Popsicles, a perfect blend of sweet strawberries and refreshing basil—ideal for hot summer days!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Wash strawberries under cool water, remove stems, and slice them in half.
  2. In a blender, combine fresh basil leaves and honey/agave syrup; blend until smooth.
  3. Add halved strawberries and lemon juice to the blender; blend until fully combined.
  4. Gradually mix in water until you achieve a smooth consistency.
  5. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds, leaving space at the top for expansion.
  6. Freeze for 4-6 hours or until solid; run warm water over molds to release popsicles before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to substitute basil with mint for a different flavor twist.
  •  For creamier popsicles, mix in a dollop of yogurt before freezing.
  •  Store leftover popsicles in an airtight container in the freezer for up to two weeks.
