- 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 4–5 fresh lemons, juiced
- ½ to ¾ cup granulated sugar (to taste)
- 4 cups cold water (divided)
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Wash and slice the strawberries.
- Juice the lemons and combine with strawberries in a blender. Add 1 cup of water and blend until smooth.
- Strain the mixture into a large pitcher to remove seeds if desired.
- Stir in sugar and remaining 3 cups of cold water until fully dissolved.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
- Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices or whole strawberries.
