Ingredients

  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh cilantro (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve a small amount of the pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and add the minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant and golden brown, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add the soy sauce and cooked noodles to the skillet. Toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water if necessary for moisture.
  4. Stir in sliced green onions and freshly cracked black pepper. Adjust seasoning as desired.
  5. Plate the noodles and top with grated Parmesan cheese and cilantro if using. Serve warm.
