- 1/2 cup apple juice
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix apple juice, brown sugar, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Place the chicken breasts in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour half of the marinade over them. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (375°F/190°C) and oil the grates.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and grill each side for about 6-8 minutes until juices run clear (165°F/74°C).
- Brush reserved marinade on the chicken while grilling for added flavor.
- Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
