Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 medium cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp fresh flat-leaf parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until bubbly. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not burnt.
- Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and chopped parsley.
- Place the seasoned salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet. Spoon some garlic-butter sauce over each fillet.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve alongside steamed vegetables or rice, drizzling any remaining sauce on top.
Notes
- Marinate the salmon for at least 30 minutes before cooking for enhanced flavor.
- Substitute olive oil for butter for a lighter option or add fresh herbs like thyme for an aromatic twist.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days; reheat gently on low heat.
