Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 medium cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp fresh flat-leaf parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until bubbly. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not burnt.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and chopped parsley.
  5. Place the seasoned salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet. Spoon some garlic-butter sauce over each fillet.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Serve alongside steamed vegetables or rice, drizzling any remaining sauce on top.
