Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, flour, and baking powder until crumbly. Press into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Bake the crust for about 15 minutes until lightly golden.
- In another bowl, whisk together sugar, flour, eggs, lemon juice, and zest until smooth. Gently fold in blackberries.
- Pour the filling over the baked crust and return to the oven for 20-25 minutes until set but still slightly jiggly.
- Cool completely before slicing and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
