Instructions
- Preheat your griddle or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat until sizzling hot.
- Roll the ground beef into four equal balls (about 4 ounces each).
- Place the beef balls on the hot surface and smash them down firmly with a spatula until about half an inch thick.
- Immediately sprinkle salt and pepper on each patty after cooking one side for about 3 minutes.
