Description

Enjoy a quick and flavorful Teriyaki Beef and Broccoli dish that brings the taste of Asia right to your table in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. 1. Prepare the Beef: Slice the flank steak thinly against the grain for tenderness.
  2. 2. Marinate: In a bowl, combine sliced beef, half of the teriyaki sauce, minced garlic, and ginger; let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. 3. Cook Broccoli: Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add broccoli and sauté until bright green and slightly tender (about 3-4 minutes).
  4. 4. Sear the Beef: Increase heat to high, add marinated beef to the skillet, and cook until browned on all sides (5-7 minutes).
  5. 5. Thicken Sauce: Pour in remaining teriyaki sauce combined with cornstarch mixture. Stir until bubbly and everything is coated (about 2 minutes).
  6. 6. Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve over rice or noodles.

Notes

  • Customize by adding your favorite vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas.
  •  For a lighter option, substitute beef with chicken or tofu.
