Ingredients

  • 1 round bread loaf (sourdough or ciabatta)
  • 1 cup cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup imitation crab meat, chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Cheddar or Monterey Jack)
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut off the top of the bread loaf and hollow out the insides.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine shrimp, crab meat, cream cheese, sour cream, shredded cheese, dill, parsley, lemon juice, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well blended.
  3. Stuff the hollowed-out bread loaf generously with the seafood mixture.
  4. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  5. Allow to cool slightly before serving with extra bread chunks for dipping.
