Description

Korean Beef Bowls are a delightful blend of savory ground beef, vibrant vegetables, and fluffy rice, making for a quick and satisfying weeknight meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup Korean BBQ sauce
  • 2 cups cooked rice (white or brown)
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 eggs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather and chop all ingredients.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned and crumbly.
  3. Stir in minced garlic until fragrant. Mix in the Korean BBQ sauce until the beef is well-coated.
  4. Add shredded carrots and broccoli to the skillet. Sauté for about 3–4 minutes until vegetables soften slightly.
  5. Serve the beef mixture over cooked rice in bowls. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds; top with a fried egg if desired.

Notes

  •  For added flavor, marinate the ground beef in BBQ sauce for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
  •  Substitute ground beef with chicken or tofu for a different twist.
  •  Incorporate extra veggies like bell peppers for added nutrition.
