- 12 oz cheese-filled ravioli (fresh or frozen)
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese (whole milk)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (low-moisture)
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups fresh spinach (optional)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the baking dish.
- Layer half of the ravioli over the sauce, followed by dollops of the ricotta mixture.
- Add another layer of marinara sauce, remaining ravioli, more ricotta mixture, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil for the last 10 minutes to brown the top.
- Allow it to rest before slicing to maintain perfect layers.
