- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract and mix well.
- In another bowl, sift together cocoa powder, flour, and baking powder. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Gently stir in the chocolate chips.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Dollop spoonfuls of cookie dough over this layer, then top with the remaining brownie batter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean with some gooey bits attached.
- Allow to cool completely before slicing into squares.
