Description

Marry Me Chicken Pasta is a dreamy, creamy dish that beautifully combines tender chicken and fresh herbs, perfect for romantic dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients: Mince the garlic and season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear the chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add seasoned chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and let rest.
  3. Create the sauce: In the same skillet, lower heat to medium, add minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Then pour in heavy cream and chicken broth.
  4. Add flavor: Stir in lemon juice and Italian seasoning; let the sauce simmer gently until slightly thickened. Add Parmesan cheese to achieve a creamy consistency.
  5. Combine spinach & chicken: Add fresh spinach to the sauce until wilted, then return cooked chicken to the skillet for about 5 minutes to meld flavors.
  6. Mix in pasta: Toss cooked pasta into the sauce until evenly coated.

Notes

  • For added color and flavor, consider mixing in sun-dried tomatoes or mushrooms.
  •  Use dairy-free alternatives if necessary for a lighter option.
