Description

Mayak eggs are a delightful fusion of soft-boiled eggs and a savory marinade, creating a mouthwatering dish perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a medium pot. Add the large eggs gently and cook for 6-7 minutes for soft-boiled yolks.
  2. Transfer the cooked eggs to an ice bath for at least 5 minutes before peeling.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, mayonnaise, Sriracha, sesame oil, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth.
  4. Peel the eggs and soak them in the sauce mixture for at least 10-15 minutes.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving over rice or on their own.
