Instructions

  3. Add eggs one at a time, whisking until fully incorporated. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  6. If using, fold in chocolate chips for extra richness.
  7. Drop dollops of cookie dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them about two inches apart.
