Description

Ginger Soy Salmon is a vibrant dish featuring tender salmon fillets marinated in a sweet and savory ginger-soy sauce, perfect for quick weeknight dinners or special gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tbsp freshly grated ginger
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • Zest of 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, and lemon zest to create the marinade.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let sit for 15-30 minutes while preheating the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Line a baking dish with parchment paper and transfer marinated salmon to it. Bake for 12-15 minutes until cooked through and tender.
  4. Sprinkle with sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

  • For an extra flavor boost, let the salmon marinate for up to one hour.
  •  Serve with steamed vegetables or jasmine rice for a complete meal.
