Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp instant yeast
- 3/4 cup warm water (100-110°F)
- 1 tsp granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
- 3 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Gradually mix in warm water until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm area for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Punch down the risen dough and divide into 12 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a rope and tie into a knot.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange knots on a greased baking sheet. Brush with melted butter mixed with minced garlic.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Brush with remaining garlic butter before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider sprinkling grated cheese or additional herbs on top before baking.
- Leftover knots can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days or reheated in the oven.
