Description

Garlic knots are soft, buttery bites infused with aromatic garlic, perfect for any occasion. Easy to make and impossible to resist!


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp instant yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm water (100-110°F)
  • 1 tsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Gradually mix in warm water until a soft dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  3. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm area for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Punch down the risen dough and divide into 12 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a rope and tie into a knot.
  5. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange knots on a greased baking sheet. Brush with melted butter mixed with minced garlic.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Brush with remaining garlic butter before serving.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider sprinkling grated cheese or additional herbs on top before baking.
  • Leftover knots can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days or reheated in the oven.
