  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • 8 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 ½ cups beef broth
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Sauté aromatics – Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, cooking until translucent.
  • Cook mushrooms and beef – Stir in sliced mushrooms and cook until softened. Add beef strips, season with salt and pepper, and brown on all sides.
  • Thicken the sauce – Sprinkle flour over the mixture, stirring well. Gradually add beef broth, stirring continuously until thickened (about 5 minutes).
  • Make it creamy – Remove from heat and whisk in sour cream until smooth and creamy.
  • Prepare egg noodles – Cook egg noodles according to package instructions; drain well.
  • Combine & serve – Toss cooked noodles with the sauce until evenly coated. Serve warm and enjoy!
