Description

Fresh Raspberry Sorbet is a light, refreshing dessert bursting with sweet-tart flavor, perfect for hot summer days. This easy homemade treat will leave everyone wanting more.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh raspberries (about 250g)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar (150g)
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (60ml)
  • 1/2 cup filtered water (120ml)

Instructions

  1. Rinse raspberries gently under cold water and pat dry.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar and water. Stir until sugar dissolves completely, about 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in fresh lemon juice; allow to cool slightly.
  4. In a blender, combine the cooled syrup and raspberries. Blend until smooth.
  5. Pour the mixture into an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours, stirring every hour for a smoother texture.

Notes

  • For added variety, experiment with other berries like blueberries or strawberries.
  • Straining the blended mixture can remove seeds for a smoother texture.
