Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream (cold)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tbsp matcha powder (high-quality)
  • 1 cup ladyfingers
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients for an organized preparation.
  2. In a bowl, whip cold heavy cream until soft peaks form (about 3-5 minutes).
  3. In another bowl, mix mascarpone cheese and granulated sugar until smooth (approximately 2 minutes).
  4. Gradually combine sifted matcha powder with hot water into the mascarpone mixture until well blended.
  5. Gently fold the whipped cream into the matcha mascarpone mixture.
  6. Dip ladyfingers briefly in hot water and layer them in serving dishes or one large dish. Spread half of the matcha mixture over the ladyfingers and repeat layers.
  7. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best flavor.
  8. Just before serving, dust cocoa powder on top.
