- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- Fresh cilantro or parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, soy sauce, and black pepper.
- Marinate the chicken in half the marinade for at least 30 minutes in the fridge.
- Place marinated chicken in a greased baking dish and drizzle with remaining marinade.
- Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- For extra caramelization, broil on high for 2-3 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs.
