Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Wash and scrub potatoes under cool running water.
- Poke several holes in each potato with a fork to allow steam to escape during baking.
- Rub each potato with olive oil and season generously with salt and pepper.
- Place potatoes directly on the oven rack or on a baking sheet. Bake for 45-60 minutes until tender when pierced with a fork.
