Description

Savor the delicious blend of sweet honey and tangy balsamic vinegar in these crispy Brussels sprouts, topped with crunchy pecans for a delightful side dish that impresses at any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb fresh Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp aged balsamic vinegar
  • ½ cup raw pecans
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp freshly cracked pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Rinse and halve the Brussels sprouts, trimming any damaged leaves.
  3. In a large bowl, combine Brussels sprouts, olive oil, honey, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using). Toss until well coated.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Scatter raw pecans over the top before roasting.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy, shaking halfway through for even cooking.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider replacing pecans with walnuts or sprinkling some feta cheese on top before serving.
  • If you like heat, a dash of chili flakes can spice things up!
