  • 4 medium russet potatoes
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Wash, peel, and thinly slice the russet potatoes using a sharp knife or mandoline slicer.
  3. In a bowl, mix heavy cream, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes, followed by half of the cream mixture and half of the cheddar cheese. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
