Description

Experience the joy of making bubble tea at home with this easy recipe featuring chewy tapioca pearls and your choice of delightful flavors. Perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup tapioca pearls
  • 4 cups water (for boiling)
  • 1 cup milk or milk alternative (such as almond or oat milk)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar or sweetener (like honey or agave syrup)
  • 1/4 cup flavored syrup or fruit puree (your favorite flavor)

Instructions

  1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a large pot. Add tapioca pearls and stir gently until they float, usually about 5-7 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix sugar with warm water until dissolved to create your sweetener.
  3. Once the pearls are cooked, allow them to cool slightly, then stir in your chosen flavored syrup or fruit puree.
  4. In another glass, combine the milk (or alternative) with the sweetened flavoring.
  5. Spoon the cooked tapioca pearls into serving glasses, pour in the milk mixture over them, and gently stir to combine.

Notes

Use fresh tapioca pearls for optimal texture; stale pearls can become rubbery.

  •  Experiment with different types of milk for unique flavors—almond and coconut can add an exciting twist.
  • Adjust sweetness to taste; start small and increase gradually.
