Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Korean soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece ginger, grated
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. 1. Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Add sliced beef and coat well. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (overnight preferred).
  2. 2. Sizzle Time: Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook half the marinated beef for 4-5 minutes per side until caramelized. Repeat with remaining beef.
  3. 3. Add Green Onions: Toss in sliced green onions shortly before removing from heat. Serve hot with rice or lettuce wraps, garnished with toasted sesame seeds.
