Description

Savor the rich flavors of this Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry, featuring tender beef and fresh broccoli in a savory sauce—all ready in under 30 minutes!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger, grated
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (or sesame oil)
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • Water (for steaming)

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by chopping broccoli, slicing beef thinly, and mincing garlic and ginger.
  2. In a bowl, combine sliced beef with soy sauce, garlic, ginger, cornstarch, and brown sugar. Marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. Heat a wok over medium-high heat; add vegetable oil.
  4. Add marinated beef to the hot wok in a single layer. Sear until browned on all sides (about 3-4 minutes).
  5. Toss in fresh broccoli florets with a splash of water; cover briefly to steam until bright green.
  6. Pour any remaining marinade into the wok; cook until sauce thickens slightly.

Notes

  • For added flavor variations, swap broccoli for snow peas or bell peppers.
  •  Serve over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
