Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil (or melted butter)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sweetened coconut flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two round cake pans.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla; gently mix until combined.
  4. Pour batter evenly into prepared pans and smooth the tops.
