Ingredients
Scale
- 1 medium head of cauliflower (cut into bite-sized florets)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour)
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Rinse and cut the cauliflower into uniform florets for even cooking.
- In one bowl, whisk together flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil until lightly coated.
- Dredge each floret in the flour mixture followed by the panko breadcrumbs for extra crispiness.
- Arrange the florets on the baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown, flipping halfway through.
- Toss baked cauliflower with buffalo sauce in a large bowl and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to set the sauce. Serve hot.
Notes
- For extra flavor, let the cauliflower marinate in olive oil and spices for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
- Customize your spice level by adjusting the amount of buffalo sauce used or experimenting with different seasonings.
