  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream (240ml)
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth (240ml)
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese (50g)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (30ml)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest while you prepare the sauce.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, being careful not to brown it.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, scraping up any flavorful bits from the bottom of the pan; bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning until melted, then return the seared chicken to the skillet to soak in the sauce.
  7. Allow everything to simmer together for another 3-5 minutes before serving hot.
