- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Gradually mix in flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt until combined.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Mix in powdered sugar and milk until creamy.
- Drop tablespoon-sized balls of cookie dough onto lined baking sheets. Add a dollop of cream cheese filling on each.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
- Allow to cool on wire racks.
