- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 8 oz thinly sliced deli ham
- 8 oz Swiss cheese, sliced
- 1 cup plain or Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray.
- Layer half of the cooked chicken breasts in the baking dish, followed by half of the ham slices and half of the Swiss cheese.
- Repeat the layering with the remaining chicken, ham, and cheese.
- In a bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard and chicken broth; pour evenly over the layers in the baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs with olive oil until moistened; sprinkle over the top layer.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
Notes
- You can substitute turkey for chicken if desired.
- Add spinach or broccoli for extra nutrition and color.
- For a crispier topping, broil briefly before serving.
