- 2 tbsp taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 flour tortillas
- 1 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and half a cup of water to the cooked beef. Stir and simmer until thickened.
- Take a tortilla, place two tablespoons of the beef mixture in the center, fold in sides, and roll tightly.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Fry each taquito seam-side down until golden brown on all sides (about 3-4 minutes).
- Place fried taquitos on paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve immediately with salsa, sour cream, or guacamole.
