Description

Crispy beef taquitos filled with savory ground beef and melted cheese, perfect for game nights or family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 flour tortillas
  • 1 cup vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add taco seasoning and half a cup of water to the cooked beef. Stir and simmer until thickened.
  3. Take a tortilla, place two tablespoons of the beef mixture in the center, fold in sides, and roll tightly.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Fry each taquito seam-side down until golden brown on all sides (about 3-4 minutes).
  5. Place fried taquitos on paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve immediately with salsa, sour cream, or guacamole.

Notes

  • Use fresh herbs and spices for enhanced flavor.
  • Customize fillings by swapping ground beef for chicken or adding different cheeses.
  • Serve with assorted dips for added flavor variety.
