Ingredients
Scale

- 2 ripe avocados (about 1 cup mashed)
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- 1. Cook the pasta: Boil salted water and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
- 2. Sauté garlic: In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- 3. Prepare avocado sauce: In a blender, combine ripe avocados, sautéed garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth; add olive oil for desired consistency.
- 4. Combine pasta and sauce: Drain the pasta (reserve some cooking water) and toss it with the avocado mixture in the pan over low heat. Add reserved water if needed to achieve creaminess.
- 5. Serve: Plate and garnish with fresh basil if desired. Enjoy warm!
